Start by choosing a puzzle mode, then select one number in the board. Pick an operation and select a second number to combine them. The result replaces the pair you used. Repeat until there is one result left. A correct result of 24 completes the puzzle; an incorrect result can be undone so you can try a different route.
You may use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and parentheses in the standard 24 Game format. Use every starting number exactly once. The solver and the game both keep intermediate fractions exact, so a route that passes through a fraction is still valid when it finishes at 24.
Tips for making 24
Look for 24's factors
Try to build 3 x 8, 4 x 6, or 2 x 12. If two numbers can make one of those factors, the remaining numbers often complete the solution.
